Die Again by Tess Gerritsen is the latest book in the Rizzoli & Isles series. In this book, Jane and Maura have to solve the murder of a man that has been found gutted and hanged in his home in Boston. Six years ago, a group of people went on a safari in Africa. Only one woman survived that trip. Their connection? The woman has seen the face of the murderer in both cases. To find the killer, Jane and Maura have to travel across borders to find out what really happened.
Once again, Tess Gerritsen holds your attention from the first page until the last. The story keeps you guessing and the ending is surprising and unexpected. It is gory, tense and a book you cannot put down once you start it. Even though the book is part of a series, it’s easy to read on its own. There will be some references to past books, but you’re not missing major clues for the murder itself. Tess Gerritsen has obviously done a lot of research for this book and that shows. The story is detailed and believable, which makes it even more thrilling. If you are a fan of the more gripping and detailed thrillers, this is the book for you.
