Bookbits for September 10th, 2015

  • The Three-Body Problem - Liu CixinAwards!  Could they have been more controversial this year?  The Hugo Awards were finally handed out at the end of August (full SF awards round-up can be found here).  Congratulations to Cixin Liu, who won the Best Novel category for The Three Body Problem.  Also massive congratulations to the Netherlands’s own Thomas Olde Heuvelt, who won in the Best Novelette category for “The World Turned Upside Down”!  He’d been nominated a few times already, and now he’s won it!  Hex, his first full novel to be out in English, will be published in April next year (and a TV series is in the works!).
