passingonthecomfortLynn was all fired up by the Amish romance trend spotted last time by Femke and wants to point out to everyone that her book Passing on the Comfort (co-authored with An Keuning-Tichelaar) fits right in that boat, too.  You can also check out their YouTube video about the Mennonite quilts that are sent to disaster areas.

Which makes me wonder if you know how many published authors work at ABC!  There’s Lynn, and Rick, and there are more but they prefer to remain mysterious!  And also Buchmeister Hans, who used to work in the basement in the Kalverstraat.

Jitse found us a marvelous literary map of San Francisco.

Karin wants everyone to know about The Zombie Survival Guide: Recorded Attacks, the new graphic novel by Zombie-meister Max Brooks (check out his site for videos and tidbits!).

andanotherthingIf you haven’t bought the new Hitchhiker book And Another Thing… yet (you get buttons!), then this review might sway you.  Thanks to Steven for sending it it!

Tom also sent in a link to an article he found interesting, all about writing readers.  Or reading writers, depending on how you look at it of course.  Please note that the article is in Dutch.

And finally, here’s a shot of our hardworking crew at this year’s Frankfurt Book Fair.  Ain’t they pretty?  🙂
