Amikaro means 'group of friends' in Esperanto. This textbook, or 'lernolibro', literally 'book for learning', tells the story of a group of university students in Amsterdam, who actually are fluent in this language and live some adventures thanks to Esperanto. Amikaro is adopted as the textbook of the Esperanto class (an open college) at the University of Amsterdam. Apart from that, Esperanto learners can improve their language skills, while experienced Esperanto speakers can enjoy the story and evaluate the Nature Culture Method for language learning.
