Our bodies and health status are vulnerable to all kinds of untoward effects under flight conditions -- dehydration, jet lag, tummy upsets, catching colds and flu, circulation problems, to name a few. I'm convinced that poor diet can exacerbate any and all of these effects! I have helped many of my frequent-flying, executive expatriate and international clients make better food and drink choices that has resulted in successfully mitigating these untoward effects, often making them disappear altogether! The purpose of this book is to present information on how and why best dietary intake can improve your travels. I 'translate' knowledge of food, drink, diet, and nutrition into strategic, practical guidelines that can help you have more pleasant flights and travels.
I've lived and practiced in seven countries and traveled and worked across several more. As I journey forward, hopefully, now with you, 'on board', we can discover newer and better ways to travel; lighter, sleeker, smarter, and more energized than ever! Ralph Waldo Emerson said, 'Life is a journey, not a destination'.
