A parenting book that is funny and heart-warming at the same time. This real motherhood story will make you laugh, rethink parenting and fall in love with the parent in you.
*** IF YOU DON'T END UP LIKING THE BOOK, I WILL REFUND YOUR MONEY - NO QUESTIONS ASKED**
?I made a booboo? is a hilarious and honest account of my own experiences as a first-time mother, and the trials, tribulations and occasional triumphs of being one. My aim with writing this book was to share with other parents what goes on in the life of a parent and make them laugh while doing that. There is enough seriousness in the world anyway. There are enough books in the world with parenting advice anyway.
Neither a guidebook on child birth or parenting, nor a collection of baby's growth milestones - the book is centred around the mother (me!) - her thoughts, observations, realizations and goof ups. There are a lot of aspects to being a mother in there - the feeling of not being good enough, the forgetful mommy brain, the sleepless nights, the quibbles with husband on how to deal with the baby, the pressure to be the ideal parent as defined in books and the guilt at the idea of joining work, to name a few. But along with all that, there are outbursts of selfless love and constant, downright happiness that form the core of this remarkable journey of being a parent.
I have put my heart and soul into the book, and I wish for it to reach out to as many mothers (and even fathers) as possible. I wish to tell them that they are not alone, and that they are doing great!
The language of motherhood and love is universal, so I am confident that the book will touch your hearts as a parent. If for some reason you feel otherwise, I will happily refund the money and you can keep the book.
