He’s been waiting on his dead wife’s spirit for a full year now, and meanwhile he’s being pressured into cooking the wedding feast of the governor’s daughter.
From there you’ll be dazzled by the characters you meet, the way they talk and love and live, and the outrageous - sometimes hilarious - twists the day throws at them. It’s a big and vibrant book, with a lot of life and sensuality and diversity and interaction.
