In Samenwerking met uitgeverij Zilverspoor organiseren de boekverkopers van de American Book Center elk jaar deze verhalenwedstrijd, waarvan de uitreiking plaatsvindt op de Heroes Dutch Comic Con in Utrecht.

Five authors explore this edition's theme: Friends and Foes. This book collects the five best stories with a fantastic element, selected from all submissions to the Fantastic Stories Competition 2023.
In cooperation with publisher Zilverspoor, this story contest is organized by the booksellers of the American Book Center. The award ceremony is held at the Heroes Dutch Comic Con in Utrecht.
