This book presents many Fluxus-scores with a detailed introduction. Fluxus is a notation for Gregorian chant that places Saint Gall neumes on lines. Therefore all performance details of the earliest, tenth-century sources, and the intervals of later sources are in Fluxus available in a single notation.
Experts on Fluxus:
Barbara Haggh-Huglo:
“you have found a valid solution for the modern performer”
Oliver Gerlach:
“An excellent work... and an interesting choice from the repertoire”
Martin Spaink (1961-2020):
“The clear and consistent manner of adapting the basic graphs of St. Gall to staff-notation leaves no doubt as to any detail of notation, […] it contains a sizeable amount of chants, some of which hard to find at all in a performable edition [...] it would be well regarded as to its merits, which are [...] far-reaching.”
Daniel Saulnier (1954-2023):
“Lorsqu'on connaît un minimum de chant grégorien, on peut lire facilement la mélodie et bénéficier de presque toutes les indications données par les neumes de Saint-Gall”
Andrea Sanguinetti:
“Fluxus-notation is simply brilliant”
